Does everyone always take something home from a workshop?

Yes! A take-home activity is part of every workshop program. Most of the time, the item is built during the workshop. In some workshops, the activity requires no assembly and will be given to the children at the end of the workshop.

How long in advance do I need to book?

We recommend 4-6 weeks before your event date. If you are going to be using our Resource Guide to complement the workshop, allow a little extra time to go over the pre-events with the kids before the actual workshop.

For what ages are Mad Science workshops appropriate?

Our workshops are appropriate for children between ages 3-4 for preschool-level workshops and ages 5-12 for elementary-level workshops.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 7 days of booking are fully refundable. After 7 days, a 30% fee will be charged, and the $100 deposit will be retained. Programs booked within 7 days incur a $50 late booking fee, are due in full, and are non-refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours are due in full. Rescheduling requests within 48 hours are not honored.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the event will not be honored, and payment is due in full. The rescheduled class must occur within 30 days of the original date. A rescheduling fee may apply if the request is made within 14 days of the event.
